My daughter wants to get married at the Hotel Posada de flores in Punta Chivato. Anyone been there? What is the best month for a wedding that is not too hot but plenty warm? |

Right now is ok depending on you definition of too hot. By next month it will hot by anyone's definition. Actually not so much hot as hot and humid. It won't get cool again until the end of Oct. Punta Chivato is in Baja, not the mainland where San Carlos is situated. It would possibly be better to post on one of the Baja websites. like Baja Insider? |

I have been in that area many times and the weather is much the same as in SC. It is straight across the sea from SC. Access might be a problem if a large wedding is planned because it is not really near anything. Driving from the US is about the only option. The nearest jet airport is Loreto which is some distance away and that will make it an expensive taxi ride. Only other option is a bus to Mulege and a taxi to the point. As I mentioned before Nov. has good weather but Dec can be cold and very windy once the northers start blowing. |
