The water temp at San Pedro Island on Sunday May 10th was 74 at the surface and 70 degrees at 70'. Viz at North Point was about 50'-60'. Terrafin is showning surface temps all around San Carlos at about 77 degrees. So the water is warming up faster than usual.

Water Temp update! Yesterday at Tres Marias and Eagle Rock we noted water temp at depth 59' and 71' of 80 degrees!! viz was about 20', but the water was very comfortable in a 3mm suit! We can finally shed our 7mm suits and begin the summer diving season!

The weekend of the 6 of June water temp out at the island was around 80 on the surface and we had some thermal climes down to 77 but was great.  Vis was good at around 45 to 60.  Inland at St. Nicolas rock vis was around 30 but water temp was 80 with very little change at depth.  Time to go Diving.:D

Water temp at window rock was 83 with no thermoclimes.  Out at San Pedro water temp was 82 with some small thermoclimes down at about 50 to 60 feet and a big change in temp at 95 to 100.:) Viz was over 50 out at Island and 25-30 inland.  lots of current  out at the island.

Water temp out at the island is running 84 to 85 at the surface with some thermal climes at 60 feet.  Viz was down some averaging 35 to 40.  Good diving on the south point this past weekend.  The sea mounds had good current with around 25 for viz.  The local dive shops are still seeing the whale shark out by Haystack.  Happy diving:D

Hi DM for now

Where did you see the Seahorses?  About 7 years ago on a dive in Martini Cove I found 5 and have not seen any since.  I would love to go find one this month.:)

Water temp out a the island was 82-83 on Saturday Oct 3.  Viz was an amazing 75+.  Also did Deer Island and it was 84 with viz at around 25 not to shabby:D.  If you have not been down to San Carlos because you think everything is still all messed up you are wrong.  The roads are very much usable although only two way streets in places and all utilities are up and running.

We went to the island over the weekend (saturday), vis was in the 60s, and temp was comfortable mid 80s. On the way we were surrounded by dolphins, and snorkeled and dove with sea lions. They were very playful and swam with us constantly.  I would post few pictures but I'm not sure how to do it.....help!

We're heading down to San Carlos on Friday morning!  Hoping for nice weather and good visibility to continue!  We plan to do some cove diving, and also head out to the island.  Can't wait!

I was down in San Carlos diving this last weekend and the water temp out at the Island is starting to drop.  On the South point water was around 77-78 at around 65 feet with vis down to 30-35 feet.  On the north point the water was holding steady at 80 down to 130 feet with very good vis around 70-80 feet.  The change is coming people.:P
