i'm driving to San Carlos in a few days (from Santa Fe, New Mexico), to swim with dolphins... if they're not around a lot these days, tell them to get busy and come closer ti shore... i'll be expecting to see them the MINUTE i arrive! *excited*

There is a small pod that sames to be a resident pod they have been here for years they seem to roam from miramar past pilar to almost the marina entrance. Rent a kayak at pilar and give it a try. I have kayaked with them before and somedays they will come right up to you and sometimes want nothing to do with you.. Also there are many sunset cruises with a good chance to see them and then there is a trip to San Pedro island many opps. for whales dolphins and of course Sea Lions.Oops forgot the Delfinarium good show and you can for a $ swim with them links to these are on this board.
Good luck

| Drop me an e-mail at repsilon@aol.com if you want to rent a kayak down by Pilar/Delfin for your best spot to find the pod. You can also check out our estuary bird pictures on our scaaMexico.com site. The tides are perfect for morning excursions this week.
