2006 models were also the same as 03-05. Change occurred in 07.

| That's good to know. I like that style so any of those years would be good. But I guess there aren't many for sale right now.

Many Wrangler aficionados feel the 03-06 models were the best Wranglers ever, when you consider off and on road ride. Certainly a proven engine.
I have an 05 Wrangler Unlimited L J and I dont think I've seen another L J in San Carlos. It becomes reminiscent of the old CJ-8 Scrambler when you flip the back seat forward.
I have seen a few of the newer JK Unlimiteds but that wheel base is too long, for my tastes.
Check out the Unlimiteds on line, using traderonline. The increased space in the back is really nice and the ride is much less stiff. I have Bilsteins on mine with no lift.........YET!
