New members are sometimes frustrated because they do not receive their activation emails after registering. We apologize for that but have little control over it. Activation emails are sent by the server and there is a long list of reasons why they sometimes do not get through to the member. So if that happens to you, here is the process.
1. Wait a reasonable length of time (2-3 hours) for the message to come. If the server is busy or the Internet is very busy, it may take that long to get to you.
2. Notify the administrator by email that you did not receive the activation email. You must include in the request, the user name you selected and the email address you registered from, exactly as you entered them. Do not include your password.
3. Upon review and verification, the admin can activate your account. Please allow 24 hours for activation. You will be notified by email that your account has been activated.
We currently have a quite an extensive list of unactivated membership applications.
In reviewing the list, I find that in many cases you probably did not receive the activation response message because of typos or other errors in the email address. I see many that are missing the dot com or whatever in the domain name of the email address.
To get activated, send me an email from the email address you registered from and include the login name you chose. After review and confirmation we can manaully activate your account and edit your email address as appropriate.
