Does any else have problems using the reply with quote function where you cant get your reply to occur AFTER THE QUOTE?

I have this problem pretty frequently using Firefox. I cant mouse-click on the area below the quote and I cant use arrows or tabs. It forces me to begin pushing around text within the quote.

I suspect it is an issue with the board and Firefox-I'll query the sysadmins on it to see if there is a workaround.  I have lots of problems using the board in Firefox, so consequently I don't use it.  will advise on the response...please stand by.

Not the answer you were looking for but there are apparently some technical issues between the message board and Firefox and some functions do not work at all and some work poorly.  Appears from what I am reading that the WOWbb design folks are having some difficulty in keeping up with the fairly frequent changes in Firefox, along with other projects.  The advice I'm seeing is to use IE for the board as it is more fully developed and stable.

I will open a ticket on your issue and see what happens.  What version of firefox are you using?

Thanx

It has taken a bit but we have now updated the board software to version 1.7. Hopefully this will resolve some of the issues Firefox users have reported.  It also provides some additional features which will be evaluated for implementation. These include expansion of the member profile with numerous new options possible. These include:

Custom User Profile Fields
This is probably the most requested feature in this release: You can now create custom fields that can appear in user profiles, on the registration page, and even next to posts. Each field can also be made required and/or private.

WowBB supports many field types:
  • Single line: Ideal for entering brief information.
  • Multiple lines: Want to type something long? Use this.
  • Checkboxes: Good for multiple selections (e.g. I like books and movies).
  • Drop-down menu: For selecting only one choice (e.g. I am female).
  • Attachments: Great for uploading files including images.
Online Status in Topics:
Whether a user is online or not is now displayed in topics, another much requested feature.

Auto Resize of Avatars & Attachments:
If your PHP installation has GD2 enabled (many PHP installations have), WowBB can now automatically resize all avatars & attachments.

PM Preview & Spell Check:
You can now preview and spell check your private messages before sending them. This has been requested by quite a few people too.

If you have thoughts on items to add to the profile, please share them.

Thanx

Bart
