Greetings:

I have recently purchased a boat that is being delivered to San Diego by semi-truck and trailer. I would rather have it delivered to San Carlos, my question, is this possible, and what are the procedures?

I had a boat in Marina Real and sold it in 2005 but it arrived on it's own bottom.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check with the folks at Marina Seca.  You can find their contact info under marine services on the home page.  They are in the process of getting all of the new permits and procedures to start hauling boats in and out of San Carlos again.  They are a great bunch of people and are very helpful.

Regards,

John

Assume you have a trucking company to bring it from San Diego?

The US truckers don't normally go into MX, so what the normal procedure is, to have it delivered to Marco Craine in Tucson. They can lift it off the truck from San Diego and stage the boat till it is picked up by San Carlos Trucking (Marina Seca).

Marco Craine should be listed, let me know if it isn't, I'll look harder

Good luck!
