I will be cruising from La Paz to Punta Chivato during October.  I was wondering about the availability of propane, fuel and water along the way?

thanks

I think about the only option for these services would be Puerto Escondido on that route without a lot of taxi fares and pesos.    Even there propane will be a high ticket item.  I have been wrong before.

Thanks John,

I suspect there are no services at Puerto Escondido and the only option would be a taxi into town?

I would suspect Loreto would be the spot for that. If you stop at the public dock be wary of the tide, I got stuck there once for several hours waiting for a tide to leave on. You can always anchor out of course or call a panga over for a ride to the dock.

Thanks Vince.

I did not know that Loreto had a public dock.  I am cruising in a 27 foot sailboat.  Is there an anchorage off Loreto?

Also, I have heard there is a new government-sponsored marina in Puerto Escondido - on of the new chain of Singular/Fontura marinas as have gone in at La Paz, Santo Rosalia, and Guaymas.  Do you know if there is water and fuel there?
