Hi,
I don't seem to have much luck getting questions answered within this forum but I'll give it another go.
I will be wanting to replace halyards/sheets, get new sail-covers made, buy a used tender, liferaft, amongst other odds and sods. I'll also be needing to get my paws on paints and anti-fouls and brushes and misc. other bits and bobs for the boatyard part of the madventure.
Now here's the question: How easy is it to procur the above materials and items in SC? Or will I have to make trips back and forth across the border, bearing in mind that I cannot drive and will be having to do all of this on buses and/or donkeys.
I look forward to receiving your wisdom on any of the above.
Cheers!

I would suggest, due to your limited mobility, that you start in San Carlos at Marine Mart, Star Marine, Luis Boat Shop, or Equipesca to inquire about your boatyard supplies. I would guess that Vince Radice (sunsports@prodigy.net.mx) on this board would be able to direct you toward halyards, sheets, and covers if they are available locally.
Good Luck!

Thanks a bundle. It's nice to have some leads to go on.

If one of them can't help, you are doomed to travel the byways with the hoardes!
Best of Luck!
