How good a sailor are u? Last weekend with the hurricane they were 35 knots gusting to 50. Port was closed from Saturday AM til Monday AM. Check on the main web site for extensive weather, tide, SST and offshore conditions.

Really? I wouldn't have guessed they were that strong. I would have said they were about half that strong. Maybe very late Saturday night for a short time those numbers were achieved.

I have been down several times since my March adventure... always nice to meet with some of the sailers.. but they seem to not even know about this site.......

Last weekend on Sunday was a glorius day, light northwesterly wind and blue water, the visibility at the aquarium was lovely, October is coming which is one of the best months around for cruising!!

Will you need any company?
My ex and I used to sail a lot, but now he has the boat.. you get the image.?
I live in San Diego and have watched this board for a while. I have mostly been fishing in the past two years, as it is easy to get on a fishing boat for my "ocean" time.
