My 12-year-old son and I are going to San Carlos at the beginning of April (Apr. 7, 8 & 9) to complete our certification dives. We are both kind of skinny and are more easily chilled then those that are of more generous proportions. Would we need to have 7mm full suits w/ hoods? or would we be OK with just 5mm full suits? We are very excited to complete our certification, because we already have a couple more trips planned for the rest of the year. I am just concerned about being cold and not enjoying the dives.
