How are the roads into San Carlos?  I hope to come down this weekend and wanted an update on conditions.  Has anyone been diving?  Water Temps out at the Island?  Thanks:)

84 to 86 F. Jimena mixed the water up. Usually it gets cooler as you go deeper. Not right now. Also no thermoclines yet. Visibility is over 80 feet at San Pedro. We could see all our bubbles go up all the way. Local at Lalos cove 15 to 30 feet visibility. I keep up to date conditions at http://www.divesancarlos.net      I have been taking my 3 mil with me, but I have not used it yet. The road in front of Totanaka is open. Two lanes for now only, but that's good enough. I missed the grand opening, so here it is:dude:

Roads all good - for about five miles, you are on a two-lane, two-way traffic.  This is just before the San Carlos turn-off.

The main road has a quick fix repair, and is also a two-lane, two way traffic in the damaged areas.

Agree with the water conditions via broerb.
