I finished my Classroom and Pool work with Desert Divers last month,  but I can't get on their schedule for the checkout dive.  I am travelling to San Carlos on June 12,  13,  14.  I have a fairly large sailboat and my own scuba equipment.  Looks like all I really need is a qualified instructor.  I can get the referral from Desert Divers,  but  don't know if they will do that for an individual.  Maybe,  if they know him.  Or Her.

It would be 2 1/2 hours to Isla San Pedro,  so could this dive be done at Marini Cove or somewhere close in,  if we use my boat??  Also how much $$$  would you charge??

I  have the same email to the local dive shops for their checkout dive schedule.

You can reply direct to my email:  batonhodges@aol.com

Same recomendation.  Ask for Jose or Felicia.  My whole family did our cert that same way.  The El mar folks are great people and very capable dive instructors

Best luck

Kurt
