went for a few days in a secluded cove 30 miles north of San Carlos Sonora,
man there were alot of fish lots of life shot lots of triggers and cabria. i was not ready for the yellowtail but they were there. saw them the first day and changed my tip to a slip tip the next day swam out early morning and didn't see any for a half an hour so i decided to shoot a trigger that was staring at me as soon as i shot him a school of 100 yellows passes me 10 feet away. no time to reload and saw schools of 4 and 5 after that. should have brought my bigger gun. here is a pic of the one that did not get away.

Nice fish Lalo!

One of my favorite to eat.

I've heard that there's some good diving/spearfishing up the coast from SC, but never checked it out.

Thanks for sharing.
