SOME FRIENDS AND MY SELF WANT TO DIVE IN SAN CARLOS. SPECIALLY WE WANT TO SEE HAMMERHEADS. WHAT PART OF SAN CARLOS CAN WE FIND THEM? WHAT COMPANY DO YOU RECOMEND TO USE FOR DIVING FOR THAT EXCURSION?
AND ANOTHER THING I FROM TUCSON AND I GO OFTEN TO HERMOSILLO TO VISIT MY FAMILY IN LAW., AND SOMETIMES I TRY TO GO TO DIVE ONLY FOR ONE DAY, BUT I FOUND THAT BOATS ARE FULL AND SOMETIMES SHOPS DON'T LIKE THAT ONE DIVER SHOWS BY HIMSELF. DO YOU KNOW PEOPLE WHO USUALLY GO DIVE AND PLANNING TO GO THIS SATURDAY. SO IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION I WILL APRECIATE IT.

Hammerheads appear at San Pedro Island for brief periods of time when the water is cooler. Think last year they appeared in October/November time frame. Don't think anyone can predict their appearance. All of our featured dive operators will try and accommodate single divers and all will try to take advantage of big animal opportunities as long as the divers are qualified. Obviously won't do those kinds of dives with students and may not do with only basic open water certified divers.
You can also do a search on the message board for hammerheads to see other posts on this issue.
See the diving page on the main web site for contact info.
