OK, now look at terrafin for SC, Mulege, Loreto, and Topolobampo - is that, or is it not what it says; 71 degrees, with 75 degree water south of Topolobampo and heading this way????

LLLLETTTS GET RRREADY TO RRRRRRUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, now that I have regained my composure, has anyone actually experienced this scientific anomaly, or are we forced to believe in satellites and infared imaging???

I'm headed down today to get the boat ready for spring and should be able to take a test run. Will try to check water temps and see whats up-may be a day or so depending on how much we have to do to the boat.

Like Bob Blair said, I think we have all been in the cold water to long, we are all starting to act a little goofy ( excluding Craig of course) But I think it might be a Good time for a  YA-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. In fact I saw the water Craig is speaking of on the Satellite shots also, If you check the color charts you will also see Blue water in the warm Areas, Now its time to pray for south winds, I saved shots from last year and we are exactly the same on the mainland side,( from topo north), and a little warmer on the baja side(from loreto north) I'm still sticking with april 20 th as our start date, things are just around the corner Tight lines  Steve

ps; when I type its bold letters, can some one tell me how to turn that off???

Steve,

Thanks for the vote of confidence - I will tell my counselors in the white jackets that I am not crazy according to you.

I think April 7th-11th is going to be the Milagro en El Mar de Cortez!

Maybe Bart can verify all this "red water" for us this week.

Your font selections are right above the reply window, including size, color, style and the "bold button" I'm not sure how it would always be bold, unless you are permanently logged in. It defaults back to standard whenever you log on - right Bart?

Hope to be on the water the 7th!! Who will join in the Search for Searing Seas???

;) Craig ;)

Steve - EXCELLENT IDEA!!!!!!! No Sniveling is ready to rock n' roll as long as Buoyweather says it's suitable for her diminutive size. If it's smooth enough, I can run with the BIG DOGS. I wish I had some "boat Viagra" so I could be prepared for these important dates with a bigger one!

When your going do south (180) have you ever ventured closer to Estero Lobos? I've never been down there and it appears to be sandy, but it has a shelf about 4 miles off.

Bart, that is in line with what is showing.

Chuck, Steve told me that's called "the canyon". My BlueChart shows a huge canyon wall there, and when the water has warmed up, Terrafin frequently shows a great temp/color break right along the edge. I plan to give it a shot this year.

Depending on the wind, the birds, the way I feel:P, I'm going to hit that area the 7th or 8th.
