don't even need a 3$ tape just put a piece of tape along the side of your boat this was Steves idea years ago don't have to take the fish out of the water just pull him up to the side of the boat and see what his length is from bottom part of the mouth to center of the tail there is a formula for girth and length. I am sure Steve will chime in on this because he has the formula. Also show people what a sail and Marlin are strippers will not make wieght so blues and blacks only. I have fished the Bisbees in cabo for years and never weighed a fish just not that many big fish anymore.
