Luis is back up and running - all the boat stalls are cleaned, hand tools organized, his power tools repaired or replaced.
He has water and electricity, and if that goes out has a generator and 2 tinakas, so if you need engine work, fiberglass repair, or general clean-up and tune-up, he's ready.
That's good news for San Carlos!

HI Greg- that is excellent news. I was waiting to hear from you but, sounds like its all back to business as usual.

| Did they get the entry to the shop fixed up and the power lines buried etc?

Hey, Paul!
The entrance is plowed smooth, still a bit muddy, but nothing that will stop a boat on a trailer from getting in.

Now, if we could only get that Grady White that is hogging all of Luis's time outta there, the rest of us could get some work done down there.
How close are you, Greg? I have been incommunicado on our new lot as Telmex is dragging their feet. Well, truthfully, after Jimena, they probably have a lot going on.

PJ:
Haven't touched it since just before the storm - it is only taking up space, not time!
Since I wasn't going to use it for the tournament, I told him to just leave it there and work on other boats that are in more of a hurry to get going.

I have a friend who has a 7 horse kawasaki that isn't working. How much do you charge to troubleshoot and work on outboards?
Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis:
You'd have to ask Luis - the best is to stop by and see him, and bring the outboard along if you can. He should be there tomorrow (Thursday) after 9:00am.

Right on the main drag through town, a bit east of Marina Seca, east of Guardian Storage, next to Encantada Realty/Gotcha Bodega. North side of the road.
You'll see the signs for "Luis' Shop". He's been there for 20 years, pretty hard to miss!
