Gracias por mi huespedes mexicanos! I guess they don't feed off as much media as the States. Truthfully, I'm sure it all boils down to the economy. Too bad, as the summer is staying pretty cool (maybe the fishing a bit too).

Have had a number of inshore charters and sunset cruises. Nothing like flipping some 3-5# sierras in the boat with a chorus of screaming ninos on-board. After passing by a few 250#+ fish on Thursday, I was ready yesterday. Of course, nothing showed up for the rigged 4# sierras. They are pretty plentiful in close though if you want to make bait for the big one. A number of bonita are in close too - prime sushi material.

Time to work on that big batch of ceviche I just made: anneheim peppers, white onions, tomatos, salsa, cilantro, garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, green pimiento olives, catsup, and smoked chipotle peppers. Easy on the last ingredient if you can't handle the spice.

tight lines,

Pro tip: For sierras use an Albright knot and some 30#+ fluorobarbon. My best lures are always black and silver. Try the deep diving Yozuri Crystal Minnows!
