We had a good dorado weekend, fishing the dead whale was fun and smelly.

Friday we saw a whale shark, water was too rough for me to take my camera out, but today I got lucky and ran into another one. I had not seen one up close before, this one is the second in the last 4 days. They are simply amazing up close.

Fernando, another fantastic photo! In 30 years I have never even seen one of these in the San Carlos area.

Dick, I saw one on friday, really close to haystack, and yesterday I ran into this beauty 10 miles out on a 190. Water was calm so we could approach it and he swam by the boat for several minutes, simply amazing. I had a mask and snorkel, but I had customers on the boat, and I could not jump in. I wonder if I will ever have another chance

Fernando, That has to be one of the coolest sights ever. I tell you every trip on the SOC is something to remember. Where else can you go time and time again and be rewarded with a lifetime of memories. -J

Carlop, both whale sharks I saw were about 13-15 feet long. Babies!
