My fishing buddy and I were coming to do the July 4-5 tournament, but he got busted with work. I, however, have my priorities straight. So, I'd like to join a team and share boat costs. If anyone has a mercy opening, I'd appreciate it.

OK. Now I'm talking to myself.
Several fishermen you never want to get stuck with on your boat- I know I have suffered through all of them at one time or another:
1. The yakker: can't appreciate some beautiful silence.
2. The poser: has to outdo everyone else's fishing story.
3. The hog: assumes this fish is his.
4. The drunk: self explanatory.
5. The mooch: doesn't share his part of the costs and a good tip.
6. The tightwad: doesn't share his cigars.
7. The preacher: tries to convert you to his religious, non-religious, political, or environmental persuasion.
One of the rules of life is to not waste fishing time with these guys. In that vein, I try not to be one of of these guys.
So, if you might have an opening on your boat for a single fisherman for the July 4th tournament, I'd appreciate a holler back.

| Cap. Morgan---I'll be down fishing a few days ahead of the tourneo, but leaving on the Friday before....if you're down there and interested, we might have room for one more. Prob. fishing Tues, Wed, Thurs. ....just a 21' Trophy...nothing fancy

Thank you for the offer. Would love to join you, but I don't fly in until Thursday afternoon from ABQ. If you stay for Friday, I'm in.
21' Trophys are great. I have fished pangas many times, so that's a nice boat to me.

We might fish Fri. am if its good, then take it out. We'll prob be in K dock, blue bimini,evinrude outboard.

Also, I'm heading down from Durango on Friday, and my buddy here has to work, so I'm solo to Tucson, then picking up a friend there on Saturday. I f you can go down early, you're welcome to ride down w/us, could pick you up in Gallup, and you could use your flight back.....you'd get lots of fishing in!

Dang it. I have to work on those dates. I will keep a look out for you next Thursday afternoon at the dock and see if you think you are going to fish on Friday a.m.. also to make the acquaintance.
Good to know you are from Durango, we might be able to hook up on future trips. Bet we have some mutual friends in the Four Corners.
I am hooked up on a JonJen charter for the tournament, so mission accomplished on that.
