I went out as far as 30 miles on Saturday, looking for tuna, did not find the dolphins or whales, no birds, nothing...got one dorado on a blind hit. Came back inshore and did some bottom fishing and got two red snappers.
Sunday I decided to try the Island, to do some bottom fishing, but when I got there about 10 am, a diver told me that he saw some yt at the south point, so I decided to give it a try...I put out the rapala magnums, some wieght on my lines and started trolling, to my surpirise I ended up with 3 wahoo, small about 12-15 lb. but I had never caught a wahoo before, so that made my day. deliciuos fish to eat!
