Lots of full Billfish, scattered Dorado, Steve C-22 says we have fish the fishing is great....well we have been out this week with mixed results...the fish are very scattered if you hunt you will find..Had one boat go across and loaded up on Dorado...other boats out yesterday and today at 35 plus miles loading up on big Dorado and Marlin..then heard of small Dorado here in the pea soup along with some small Sailfish....Sure C-22 will post results today as I will...tight lines

Have one boat staying close at the reef will report...Another going 35 plus and we will see...jon and jen :cool:

Both boats just back in Jonjen 1 at 19 miles and got a little bumpie and came back with no fish...Jonjen 2 out south got a Dorado and one small Tuna..was in the zone but weather forced us to come back in...

Pez Vela I think had one Dorado before the weather churned up..

Reason for the early backs was the Port Capt orders for nasty weather coming...tight lines jon :X:X

Will report tomorrow.....

We went fun fishing today, took the lite weight rods and little ambassador reels and some lite weight spinning rods and had a blast catching and releasing skipjack...we all got tired of catching and quit after 6 hours but what a blast, you donĀ“t realize the strength of the little guys until you put on a lite weight rod and reel....

Catch 22 out on charter sure he will report today...we have charters tomorrow and will report....jon and jen :cool:

Well this is not a fish story....yesterday morning we where bottom fishing just a short ways out getting some small but edible snappers etc...300 ft plus deep as we where drifting along a big Striper Marlin cruises by...then few minutes later a Sailfish jumps...we saw more in a two hour trip than some of the boats that went to Tortuga yesterday....Fernando did well on a weed line with four nice Dorado....tight lines

This should be a interesting weekend...especially with the tournament going on...oh where oh where to go.:cool:

I saw a nice batch of red snapper getting unloaded yesterday. One I saw was 6#. I asked the guy what shellfish the six pangas just outside the Pilar estuary were getting and he said lots of pargo. And I thought they liked deep cold water. Will hopefully give it a shot today or tomorrow.
