The blue water is close as are the Dorado...some boats out 30-35 miles report Tuna in the box..other reports said some small tuna caught at 10 miles so who is to say...We have two boats out today..both reporting Dorado in the box..had a friend out yesterday and they found lots of flying fish and saw lots of small Dorado...which is great watching the little guys chasing the flying fish...
So in short the fishing is picking up...lots of Sails and some Marlin...water temps are right where they should be...should be a great week of fishing...am fishing tomorrow and will report with any updates...tight lines jon and jen
Steve C-22 out today...sure he will report also today...

| My friend caught 11 @10#. Don't know how well the other boats did that he called in. Sounds like they were just off the south tip, but they are definitely NOT Skipjack. I'm breaking out the nori and sticky rice. Don't think I'm going to find any pickled ginger though.

Yep, they were yellowfin on Monday, good eating football size and I'm pretty sure every boat in the area had their choice of either sushi or seared last night. They were moving around right off the south tip of the island, birds working hard all afternoon.
