I am still waiting for one of those skippies to turn up gold. In the afternoon we caught one small dorado on the reef. At a little after six we saw our first fish and sail jump a hundred yards off. Luckily it stayed on the surface and then tentatively and thankfully picked up a bait.
I heard of a ridiculous report from down south (170), so if the weather permits it could be an improvement over the reef bite.
It was getting rough and we were trolling back in on Tuesday from the reef and the tuna bit around the 900 ft. depth on black/blue feathers. Who knows where they are now. Good luck. We're waiting for the waters to flatten out again.
