For those inquiring minds that feel the need to know evryting this is how we "Stole" Fernando
On Friday night when we found out at registration that one of anglers was going to fish with another team we asked Fernando to join our team because no one including Steve Calvert had asked him to fish. If my memory serves me well today I believe it was Steve who suggested it. Mardi Gras you might want to know all the facts before you type.
In regards to your second question. Which falls under what relevence does it have. We had two members of The Sea of Cortez Boat Club Myself and Raphael from the Palapa bar.
If you would like to join the club please visit our web site http://www.seaofcortezboatclub.com

I just want to add that when Pilo and Steve asked me to join them I did not have to think about it twice. I knew already they were a highly competitive team and I had the chance to be right there fighting for the tournament and trying to help win it.
Now, if someone is thinking that I helped them win...here are the facts:
My numers were:
I had 5 solid chances: I missed 2 fish, I hooked 3 fish, broke the lider on one and lost the other two. So in short words I did not contributed a single release to my team. I even ended up costing the team some cash...I was really frustrated with myself, I sure picked the wrong weekend to have a bad weekend of fishing.
Even with me sucking so bad during the tournament, all the team was really supportive. I never felt uncomfotable ( well i did, but with mysef!!) and most important I had LOTS and LOTS of fun.
So Thanks to Steve, Pilo, Cuate and Rafael for having me on your team. It was fun fun fun.
Fernando

The following is an up date to the San Carlos Billfish Series
Sposred by the http://www.seaofcortezboatclub.com
Reminder we will only count 4 best finishes for each boat. We will drop the lowest points for any boat that fishes all 5 events. The standings will be funky but close right up tp the final evet which is the Cantina Cup.
Every boat has only fished 2 tournaments unless noted otherwise below
Sassy Lady = 220 (3 events)
Lucky Ducks = 200
Reel Loco = 190 (3 events)
Shady Lady 180 (3 events)
Catch 22 = 165
Kryptonite = 150
EZ Money = 135
Predator = 130
Rebel = 65
Thanks

Hey Guys,
Great to see the point standings in the labor day tournament,however I would like to know the species,weight and amount of fish caught, as 25 or 65 or 125 points doesn't really tell me much about the fishing success.
Any info would be appreciated.
