Here are The Final Unofficial Results for the Tournament..We develop all film today to make It Official
1) Lucky Ducks
2) Jon-Jen
3) Tie .. Catch-22 Suerte & Telamon
The above was For The Money Jack Pots
Hatti Anne finished Second Overall Tied with Jon-Jen with 6 Bill Fish Released, However they were not Entered in The Jackpots.
The Over all High Point Angler & Overall High Point Lady Angler were one in the Same...Africa ( All 90 pounds of her) finished with 5 Bill fish released on Hatti- Anne..way to go Girl!!
Congrats to all..The tournament was lots of Fun, Thanks to Jon & Jen for all there help..and To Our Sponsers...Jon-Jen Charters , Catch-22 sport fishing, Rivera Yachts, Star Marine,& Ruby wine Bar...
One Other Note my Partner Fernando was a Trader this weekend and Fished aboard Luck Ducks...Congrats Steve to you and Your Team

Great tournament Steve. You, PQ, Jon, the Ruby's gang and Star Marine did a fantastic job.
Tell the Duck I want my cut  . Good intelligence ain't cheap. He can take it out of Pilo's share. I will apply my proceeds to the Don's young angler scholarship fund. The Don's found out that my son caught and released his first sail this weekend and paid us a little visit on the dock. My son received his right of passage initiation from the Don's and a free subscription to the newsletter. I don't know how they found out, but my son is happy the initiation is over and part of the gang!

*Hatti-Anne was the second place boat overall Tied with J.J., the results above are for the money portion only of the tournament results for most fish caught are

The over all High point Angler and over all High point lady angler was Africa on Hatti-Anne....yes it's true we all got our ass kicked by a 90 pound girl !! Go figure

Great work on the tournament everyone. It was loads of fun. The location, entertainment, food, drinks, and everything else was excellent. Maybe in a few years it will rival the Cantina Cup. Don't miss this one next year!
You never know with the fishing. One group asked me last week if it was worth going out. I was honest with them and said I'd let them know the next day. Well, the bite picked up and we caught five dorado and landed one of the three sails we hooked. The first day of the tournament we caught five out of seven sails and two dorado. The last day brought in three dorado and no sails. The only truly bad day of fishing I ever had was the day I didn't go. There were some yellowfin picked up by the reef. It should be a great summer and it's staying relatively cool - esp. on the water.

Thanks for a great tournament Jon, Jen and Stev and The Wine bar crew and all the sponsors Star Maina , Riviera etc....without you there would have been no blowout
Lucky Ducks would like to be the 1st to pre register for the 2009 Billfish Blowout.
We are all in across the board we would like to enter all 5 fisherman as captains as well

This just in off the press wire Lucky Ducks just inked a 5 year sponsorship deal with AFLAC
They also signed Africa to a 5 million dollar contract. to fish with the Lucky Phucks team til she reaches 100 pounds or 100 years old which ever comes 1st.
For those who like to sing in the wine bar don't give up your day jobs, you can't carry a note to save your life

For the record the "SUERTE" was booked by a couple of novice anglers who are thankful to Mr. Calvert for it's use and Great luck that came with the boat. (hence the name "suerte:"). What a FISH Magnet!
