They are prolific this year. I wonder if the temerature variations have a strong correlation. I think the blue bells have just begun.

I heard that one guy's brother was out there catching the big white ones, drying them out and selling them for medicine to the Japanese. I am more than willing to help out if that would keep them from eating dolphin and the other pelagics. I would think that they would be the best and easiest fishery around.

I do wonder if there is any correlation between this report and the seemingly increased amount around our San Carlos waters. 

I've never thought that they could be fished and put to good use, as this article indicates.
