I've left voicemails and emails for Catch-22 trying to set up some dates for a June trip, but so far they've gone unanswered.  Anyone know how I can get in touch with them quickly?  We're ready to spend some money and can't find anyone yet to take it. :)

I am in SC with my kayak.  PM me a phone or email and I'll see Steve or Fernando at the marina.  I just talked to Fernando as I was leaving the marina about 10 minutes ago.

Fernando:

Thanks for geting back to me.  Steve has also contacted me now.  I had left voice mail for Steve (520-413-1411), and emailed (spicituna@aol.com and info@catch22mexicosportfishing.com).  We are kinda locked into our dates (6/20-6/21) and needed to get things confirmed as soon as possible.  We look forward to going out with you guys then.

Thanks again!

Thanks for getting back to me with the info.  We look forward to doing some light tackle billfishing with Fernando.  I'm sure we'll have some more questions regarding tackle, lures, etc., but you and Frenando have been most helpfull and gracious.

I'll email you does (does Fernando have a different email address?) to make sure we bring douwn what we need.

Looking forward to light tackle billfishing in June with Fernando!!!

(Sleeping till then will be a problem :P

Larry,

I've fished with Fernando when he landed a marlin on 30# on an Avet SX - he likes the light tackle and will get you hooked up. The rest is up to you!

You'll have a great time!

Craig

PS - Steve fishes MUCH better than he types!!! :?

Steve:

Thanks for the confirmation.  Yep, I've watched most ALL of Fernando's videos, and that's why we contacted you guys. ;)  If all the stars line up okay for us, it should be the trip of a lifetime! (till NEXT time :dude:)   See you guys in June!

Great!  My Avet SX 2-speed is my favorite reel.  I'm sure Fernando can get us hooked up, and I HOPE I'm good enough to get a land, but the uncertainty is why I go fishing in the first place.

Sometimes you walk away with, and sometimes without, but ALWAYS as a winner.  DANG, I LOVE FISHING!!!

I'm bringing down 1 (maybe 2) other guys who have never done any billfishing, so we kinda have a plan worked out to "share" the fight of each fish (5-10 mins at a time) so no one gets left out.  We'll see how that goes.  We are reaaallllllyyyyyyyyyy pumped!
