I have Heard several reports of Dorado from 18-35 miles south...with Lots and Lots of Fish at 50 miles...Yesterday I fished with Jon from Jon-Jen and we Hooked a Stripe Marlin Up at 18 miles on a 220 ..We Lost it after a short Battle but at least we Know there here..I also know of Other boat's that have seen Marlin and have had them in there spread...

The water is getting warm Fast, Terafin is showing 75 deg. just 5 miles south..fishing is here and should be fantastic this weekend.......

That is great.  I will be down with some friends and I want to take them fishing, but don't really want to go 50 miles out.  Hope all is well with you Steve!

Steve,

Good to hear from you, its been way too quiet in SC for the Marlin/Sail/Dorado boys  (& Girls "Jan"). We (three) are REALLY looking forward to getting out on the water with you and the crew.

Hope all is well, you've made true believers of all of us in SC and your aproach to catch and release (except the daily dinner Do-Do,, ie; "Quad 'D' ").

We're bringing the "secret" weapon (sushhhhh),,, not THAT secret weapon,, the "FLY,, the FLY,,,"

Cant wait, TR (Terry) Jan and Fred  :dude:

These marlin eating or just jumping around far off, teasing us all? Close to the boat, basking after eating, any flotsam/crapola around, bait balls, birds divin'?

As you might be able to tell, we're excited. Hope the fishy's are too.

See you soon,

Steve,

Glad to hear that the timing for bottom fishin' is changin' to Billfish this week! What a time we are going to have this week on the Catch 22. Can't believe the luck of catching the water temp, and tides, moon cycle, "fishing gods", and all those "Hail Mary's" that I've been saying all this month, hoping for the fishy's to start runing a little closer to shore before our charter this Sunday.  Waiting to see, and hear great reports from You and Fernando this Weekend. Tight Lines to all the fishermen, let's see how many reports we can gather so everybody can druel until they can get down to San Carlos and stretch a line!

Rick :D
