Can someone recommend the best insurance to get for in Mexico, while on the water? What about while in a covered slip (dry dock)? I know you should have liability, but what about actual coverage for loss or damage while at sea (of Cortez in this case).
Thanks,
Matt

I may not have answered your question
you were asking about values of coverage
I don't know the answer to that

Megabite, I'll be checking those out, esp. Mariners', which I believe I have heard of. No, your info was good, I just know my US insurer won't help me in MX and my MX insurance won't cover my boat at sea. I believe I last got MX liability from someone in AZ who handled MX.
Thanks,
Matt

| i think the Vagabundos del Mar folks also do boat insurance, and if rates are anything like their car insurance, would be pretty competitive

| Anymore info in the boat insurance issue would be greatly appreciated. I keep a boat in SC, use it 2-4 times a year, a couple weeks each time. Need liability to launch and slip in the marina. Any other companies, or other options............thanks

Thanks for the replies so for. I checked with Vagabundos del Mar (I'm a member), but they only offer liability on the water. Will be checking a couple more leads I got from boat sales also.
