I am thinking of a kayak fishing trip this Fall. Is the inshore fishing any good in October? I would probably be within 2 miles of shore, and north of town. What should I expect?
Thank you mucho.

Last year in a kayak, I caught quite a few Dorado right outside the SC Marina entrance near the rock island in early October, but the water cooled and no dorado after about Oct 10.

I was trolling 3/4 oz feather jigs and 3/4 oz Krocodile spoons. Both worked OK for Dorado and Sierra.
