Maybe someone will post a report from down south. Everything looks good, but as Luke had to wait to let her loose, I've got to hold out for a few more days. The water was nice and blue and warmer coming in though.
Left at five and maybe could have slept in. The only surface boil outside had two pound macks. We really didn't hit the NW side until 9:00 though. Two hours later we had 14, and lost an equal number. Trolling was working for boats in close. The jigging was phenomenal. From the point just to the west of the north tip, to the tip was hot. After a while I just looked for the fish off that western north tip and it was golden - 170-210'. Stay in close.
