The 4th annual SC yellowtail spearfishing open took place this past Sat, March 15th.
We had close to 30 free divers total, mainly from AZ and CA, with a couple of local guys.
Winning fish was taken by a CA diver, Tyson Curtis, at 45.6 LBS.
The other 4 placing fish were between 18 LBS and 25 LBS, total of 10 fish were taken that day.
Considering the day before was a complete bust for visibilty and fish, was a great day!
Not qualifying for the tourney, but a trophy fish that was taken, a 56 LBS Pargo (Snapper)
All fish were taken at the island, no particular area, all over.
