BahiaTrader-Some months ago I read an Article about the sub species of "Shamu", I can't put my hand on it, but from memory it indicated there were 4 resident pods here in the Sea of Cortez, and they were doing some DNA. testing to see if they were in fact a Sub species.
Going along with the resident pod ( Non aggressive) and Transit pod (Aggressive) theory the "free willy's" here now were Actually swimming with the boat Just like Dolphins. they appeared to be having as Much fun with us as we were with them. at any rate it's very cool to see them and we have boats out again today looking
tight lines

| You lucky devil. Do you turn off your fish finder when you get around killer whales or dolphins? I always do any more. I assume they are sensitive to sonar from fish finders. I had a dolphin snap the transducer off of the back of my boat with it's nose once. It came up behind the boat when we were cruising at 10 or 15 mph. and homed right in on the transducer. It bumped the transducer with it's nose, maybe out of curiosity or possibly it was hurting it's "ears". I just turn my fish finder off when they get close anymore. I don't like doing mid-ocean repairs.

The other day I was sitting there thinking about my life and the crazy things I've done and the incredible things I've survived. Orcas not included! I pondered what opportunity my children will have to pursue their dreams and enjoy the same rights and freedoms I have enjoyed. I asked myself if I really believed those freedoms could be taken away. Taken away by the same country I live in for what is now being sold as "for the good of the whole". We've heard this many times before! When people slowly succomb to the same idology and restrict the freedoms of others when no reasonable and/or legal premise exists, I see failure. Failure to uphold and support the Rights we are born with and systematically plegde power to the Elitistst. Although I am no William F Buckley Jr., I do believe I know my purpose in life, and nothing or nobody can ever can take that away. The day I am silenced will be my death for freedom.

Where would we be today if their were not men like Patrick Henry? If they had not named a submarine after him I would have named my sportfisher PH freedom! It might be R.I.P. if I dont survive the underwater experience. We need a litle more clear water and some good bait and you'l have your video......

| I wish you the best of luck. I'm looking forward to seeing the video. I hope you will tolerate and excuse a little sick bahiatrader humor. I admire Patrick Henry. I'm not sure about you... yet. I've got to go outside and do some more work on my boat which is not named Patrick Henry either.

The world needs more top-of-the-food-chain predators like orcas. Hello, Mr. Leopard Seal! Good-bye Mr. Happy Foot penguin! Yep, that's how nature works!
