| Hi, my name is Corinne, and I am searching for my father who has been missing since 1994. I am posting on this site because he is an avid fisherman, and I know that where ever he may be he will be fishing. Anyway, he left when I was 11, never to be heard from again, until.......about 8 or so years ago, a man that i guess he once knew made contact with an old family friend saying that he had seen him somewhere in Mexico fishing, and he apparently contacted the old family friend about 6 years ago. I do not know the where in Mexico, but i guess it helped narrow down my search. To give some information about him: His name, if it is even still the same, is MIKE WARS. He is part White and part Hispanic, and i know he can speak fluent Spanish. His occupation, when I was a kid, was a Welder/under-water welder. He liked to fish and scuba dive. The old friend that he contacted told me that he could hear a TV in the background that may have been speaking Spanish, and that my Dad told him he had been in a fight and got stabbed, so he may have a scar from that somewhere on his body. He loves music and especially loves to play the guitar. I have spent the last year searching for him with no luck. I have hired private investigators and everything, it always is a dead end like he just fell off the face of the earth. I know that his finger prints are on record, so if he was deceased we would know by know, I have started posting on the Internet because it is worldwide and I feel I can reach more people this way. If anyone thinks they may know this person, I am not asking you to give ME any information, But I would like you to just let him know that I am looking for him, and that I miss him very much. I don't know what he is running from, but it doesn't matter anymore. He has two children and two grandchildren that don't want him to miss out on anymore of there lives.
