I will wait and see if Fernando sends the story - he sent the pictures and took his fiancee Gaby to dinner after our 12 hour day. Final score: Fernando, a nice yellowtail and several OHHH CRRRRRAP's! IronMan: 5 yellowtail and a nice white sea bass. He skunked me last time, so I owed the youngster a whuppin'! ;)

Craig,

Congrats!  The cream eventually rises to the top.  Nice wsb and yellowtail.  Were you out at the island or off of San Antonio?  Just wondering.

Craig--

"Nice" would be gross understatement on that sea bass!

Fernando---

i think it was your karma biting you in the butt for the way you torment all us usually-landlocked folk with those tantalizing videos of you having fun.......    :P;)

We were at the island on Sunday, and were skunked. Heard all the reports of San Antonio holding the fish.  Saw No Sniveling on the way back in as we passed San Antonio. Nice work guys!

Nice job Fernando, looks like I should have been out on Sunday, not Sat.

Look forward to coming down in the summer to hook a sail or marlin on the fly.

Thanks for everything!

Sergio....the funny thing is that we were heading to the island on saturday, and the wind kicked us back to San Antonio...we were a little bummed about it...but it ended up working out great for us.

I can't remember how many time we said: "I'm so happy we didn't make it to the island" while we were fighting a fish

See you in the summer time....i'll have the teasers ready!

Gracias por tu comprension.

Fernando

Roosevelt is where I learned to fish from "The Beerslayer" (gramps). My first bass and crappie were caught there, starting in 1957. I probably have 200 weekends on that lake since then. I got spoiled when I went to CA to work on the sport boats and caught yellowtail - it just didn't seem catching bass any more; I can pull back harder than a bass! ;)
