You people are a very helpful wealth of information.  Thank you.  I was wondering when we travelled down the Baja we were able to get our fishing permits in San Diego and wonder if the fishing shops in Tucson sell them as well.

No but there are now several sources in San Carlos so it is not a huge deal to get them in Mexico.  See the post on fishing regulations and more on this forum.

In the past we have been able to get licenses and boat permits at San Xavier Mexican Insurance.

Problem is they do not always have the forms-best call first.  Was a big issue when the only place in San Carlos to get them was the pesca office.  Now you can get them at the TAGG charter office, the cooperativa office, the convention and visitors office and the pesca office so no longer really a big deal.
