Duncan- I have not found any area's around San Carlos were you can Cast from shore for Corvina other than Marina Real & Marina San Carlos. both however do not allow fishing...You May have some luck Just out side the no fishing Zone of Marina San carlos on the north shore ?? I would love to here any other Idea's from others
I tried just what you suggested last night. There was plenty of mullet activity but no curvina (at least not biting). I used to catch curvina in the Bacochibampo (Miramar) estuary/marina years ago but it's now so full of pangas and fishermen that I'm not sure it's worth trying.
I've heard there's good corvina fishing off the APIGUAY wharf in Guaymas (where the large ships are loaded/unloaded), but I haven't found a way of getting access.
I've asked this before, but maybe someone has fresh info, how can you predict curvina "runs"? Or in other words, is there a way of choosing the right days/conditions for casting for curvina other than using the solunar tables and fishing at dawn/dusk?
