Hi guys, we are new to fishing here and only have been here to relax and party. I saw life boat sized boats brimming with squid being unloaded by the crews with pitch forks.

How can we do that? Who do we see? I just want to catch a couple squid.

                                                   thanks,  les

simply troll a size 18-22 Rapala Magnum (or equivalent) through a school of squid. How to find the squid?....look for birds working about 2-3 miles outside of San Antonio point. OR...as we discovered, wait until you get close to the island and look for birds working a mile or two off the island. You will get lots of bumps and finally one will get snagged on his tentacles and cannot escape. The next trick is how to avoid the ink...so we gaffed him and let him "bleed" for a long time before we brought him on board.

Buena suerta....Captain Dick
