I've been in the position having a boat and kinda wanting to go and use it, but not wanting to go bad enough to get myself moving. And looking back, if I had a buddy that could have gone on short notice, I would have used my boat more.
It's different if you are coming in for the weekend specifically to use the boat.
But if you are around for this winter relaxing, and want to use the boat for a tour or for fishing but you need a motivation to get you going. Maybe I can help you, I could be your fishing buddy or tag-along for a ocean run and of course that would be a great benefit to me as well, I love being out on the water. My last fishing trip was at Uclulet/ Tofino on Vancouver Island catching Salmon and Cod.
And if you are not in to fishing, but you like taking people out for a tour, I'm game for that as well.
Now, if someone steps up with a sailboat and says help me sail or let's go sailing, I haven't done that for years, but I'm a capable fast learner- that would be fun , I haven't piloted anything bigger that a 14ft catamaran.
I'll be in San Carlos/ Marina Real from Dec.16th until End of January for sure and maybe until the end of February.
I'm willing to help pay my share of expense/ fuel etc.
If you don't own a boat but want to put together a larger fishing party to rent a boat, let me know- I really want to fish, but I won't hire a boat jst for myself.
Don't worry, I'm not a drinker, so your beer is safe.

Hello, I am driving down on the 17th and have only 1 or two guys fishing with me. we will be fishing on the 18th and 19th. come join us and pay your portion of the gas and tip my deckhand.
