Fishing is slow this week for us and many others...Abel on Jonjen 2 was out with the Brennans and caught these two nice Yellowtails off of San Antonio Pt, while all the other boats where nada nada....way to go Abel....Roberto and I tried for Snapper and Grouper but just where not there....

Yesterday few boats out and heard of two boats catching 5 yellows and one boat heading north Trival Pursuit, and catching grouper, calicos, snapper and white fish....So in general a bit slow but the fish are there but right place right time....thats why we call it fishin...

Generally weather been good with light winds in the afternoon and mid 70´s and are basic winter weather....

Gift Certificates available....also Guy Harvey and our t-shirts...will ship...mucho gracias...jon and jen :cool:

I thought  I was going to get skunked again yesterday. I made one last pass at Social Security reef, which has seemed yellowtailless for years, and hit a double. Both were large, 15 & 18#. I guess you never know. Maybe a fluke, but there were a lot of readings there around the peaks.

(Watch your deep lines there, as there are several high peaks. Social Security is in-between lining up the middle of the island and San Antonio with Double, and lining up the radio tower with the left side of the white rock.)

They are "fair weather IronMen" - use the Iron if they're biting every cast, but lay around and let a mackerel do the work when things get a little slow - IronWimps!

Tuesday, Abel out on Jonjen 2 with customers from Canada, had a great day, started with little action at San Antonio, then off to the island and got into the Bonita, then got into the yellowtail ended up with only two, but got broke off twice on mono, so the action was steady...As Abel says lots of ACTION

Geraldo, Steve and Fernando got bageled with live bait,,if I was a betting man I would have said they would load up with all the live bait they had...but nada....who can figure they would avoid the live bait....

Charter out today will report later gracias jon and jen :cool:

Let's all get involved and support the firemen, it is a great cause, and should be a great deal of fun,,,,Only 350 pesos for entry, can register at Star Marine or the marine office at San Carlos Marina.
