I'll do that, thanks! I warn you I am a rookie with the salt but am trying to change that! If I see a good deal somewhere I'll shoot a link to you.

I had a great time yak fishing in October.  Early there were many Dorado at paddle distance- just east of SC Marina entrance.  Then the water cooled and the fish moved out.  I am planning another trip in May with a better yak for my ability- a Hobie Outback with pedal power.  Legs are stronger than arms if you are an old fart.  For anyone interested in the Hobie, I saw several on display in Marine Mart at about US prices.  Unfortunately they did not have an Outback model on the floor.  I must admit I really like fishing from my bass boat with a butt seat and trolling motor and good standing vision and fish control, but the yak puts you right with the fish.  I had one fair size Dorado on a Crocodile jump in the yak with me- treble hooks are scary at close range!

Here is a good site for more yak fishing info: http://www.kayakfishingmagazine.net/
