I did not want to high jack anyone else's thread. All are invited!
My Son's and I are crossing to the Bahia Concepcion on Nov 11th AM. We'll through lines out at the blue water, but we will want to get across fairly early. We will be camping and sleeping on the boat. Last time and at least for the first night we'll be by Coyote Bay. Good food and nice beach on an island close by.
Our reason for going is to experience the Baja 1000 race, at least a very little bit of it. The race comes through on the 13th. That means we will at least go to the course which is 17 miles from C.B. on the 12th to check it out. If we can get some accommodations for the boat (Nauti Dog) then we will secure them and spend the night. If not we will return to C.B and get a taxi to take us to the course on the 13th.
We plan on going to Santa Rosalia on the 14th to just to sight see and if the wind is light we could cross again in the afternoon (probably not) or first thing on the 15th.
I won't be getting down to S.C until late on the 10th...wouldn't be ready to cross until 12th or 13th. Maybe we'll see you around Santa Rosalia ...boat is Trophy Hunter. Not even sure yet if we'll cross...have to see how the boats doing.
