Is the surface bite on the way out? According to So. Cal news the santa ana winds are going to hit there this weekend.

Guessing the winds and there cooling effects on water temps will be here a couple days later. Water temps will be taking another dip.

A quick survey of available Internet data shows a three day wind event on Sunday-Tuesday, and 15 day weather forecasts show the first overnight lows of <60F in Guaymas occurring about November 1st.

Short of an unforeseen warming trend from the effects of Hurricane Kiko (MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 3 MPH...6 KM/HR...AND THIS
GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS.  ON
THIS TRACK...THE CENTER OF KIKO IS FORECAST TO PARALLEL THE COAST
OF SOUTHWESTERN MEXICO FOR THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 40 MPH...65 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS.  SOME STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST AND KIKO COULD BECOME A
HURRICANE IN THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 105 MILES...165 KM
FROM THE CENTER.)

...I would concur that it is going to cool off.
