How much would it be worth to catch biggest Marlin of the tourney on a Dulcecita Lure?

Wow what exposure. :D

I wish I had some of those lures in my tackle box :(

I see there are two  San Carlos boats in the Los Cabos Tournament which started yesterday but can't get any results as yet.  If anyone does see some results would appreciate a post.  Thanks

The bisbee web site indicates there were 60 billfish released yesterday. It did not give results by boat. How many boats fishing? I know some of the best boats from Hawaii are there..that seems like a low number for the "marlin capital of the world" with the great fisherman there. Probably reflects dragging very big stuff going for the big one? Weather also affecting...the chart indicated 11 foot plus seas.

Be interesting to see the final results of this one.

From my weather source those 6-7 ft Seas are "swells", not chop like here in SC. Looks like Tropical Storm Kiko is weakening substancially so may not be a factor.

12:10PM Sunday: Tracy Melton aboard Bad Company 60 just weighed in the first qualifying fish of the Los Cobos Tournament.  331# Black Marlin.  The pots from yesterday rolled over to today since there were no qualifiers yesterday - just releases.

Just figured out how to read the net site...there are 65 boats fishing. That could end up being a very valuable black marlin.
