Thursday- The wind finally stopped blowing so I decided it was time to get back on the water..My friend Phinny and I headed out on a 210 deg heading, about 12 miles out in the Pea Green water we saw a tail of a HUGE Marlin, I threw a bally-hoo at it with a 10/0 circle hook, she light up and crashed the Bait, I was so In shock how big this girl was I hit the Drag after about 2 seconds , need less to say it was game over... We continued to 23 miles and found blue water.Phinny had never caught a Marlin and was hoping for that and some Dorado.. Phinny drove and I was letting baits out, as I was letting the 3rd bait out a felt a tug, I looked and saw a Marlin following, He ate the Bait and hooked up. It was perfect, Phinny released him after a 15 Min. battle, we continued to troll for another 4 hours or so and Boated 3 very nice 35 pound class Bull Dorado, & released a Sail..perfect Day on the water, congrats to Phinny On your first Marlin and Biggest Dorado ever..
Just got Back with Fernando & Craig on a short Day,we released 2 marlin and Boated 2 Dorado Right at the Color Break....C-22 Suerte Caught 6 nice Dorado there and released a Very nice Blue...Heard reports of tuna at 30 miles...The fishing is VERY GOOD
