I'm bringing some kids down and I'd like to hook up with some snapper or trigger fish. Any advice on good locations. I've got a 21 ft boat so most any reasonable run is good

Last year was my fisrt time fishing this aea. I just left the harbor and saw a couple boat "parked" a mile or so from the entrance. Got to the area, metered fish and had a great time.
I just bounced a mega-bait jig. Probably even better w/a little bait.
