| My wife & I will be flying from Nebraska to San Carlos & will be staying from Jan. 6th to Feb. 4th. I would like to find someone who would like to share expenses to charter a fishing boat .I have a fishing boat but decided not to bring it down until I find out how the fishing is. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks Bob

Bob:
Check with Bob Blair and his Captain Julio when you get to San Carlos. They are a great charter service and can probably find you space on some of their charters if nothing else works out. I am sure some of the gracious fishermen will come forth with offers as well. They are a great group and you will not be disappointed.

| Hi John--- Thanks for the info. I have heard that bottom fishing is the best way to go that time of the year. Is this true? If so how far out & how deep of water is best? Thanks Bob

Bob:
I am certainly no expert on fishing out of San Carlos so I will leave your question for others in San Carlos who really know what they are talking about. It will depend on what kinds of fish you want to catch.

| Hi Biff Thanks for the reply & congratulations on a great finish. When we get to San Carlos I plan on looking up Bob Blair and work out a charter with him. They say he can walk on water when it comes to fishing in the area, so hope he can teach me a few tricks. Hope to meet up with you and your Dad. Would love to try for yellow tail anytime. Thanks Bob

Would be happy to take you fishing on a shared cost basis. I have all the tackle and an excellent Captain/fishing guide.

I would also be interested to know more about fishing on a shared cost basis. I have recently discovered San Carlos. We will be planning another trip soon. Please reply here or give me a call on my cell at 770 331-9610.
I have posted a new topic looking for same and/or individuals interested in shared fishing boat ownership.
