I wondered how long we might be allowed to fish there - sounds like the "Inquisition" has started.

Cristobal,
Steve and I have a mutual agreement to speak highly of each other, hiding reality from those who cannot handle the truth! Hope you get some good fishin' in whle you're there. Say hi to Steve for me and tell him I appreciate the kind thoughts! WISH I WAS THERE!!!!!

Hope Santa brought everything they wanted.
We're heading down tomorrow and I'm just curious if the Corvina are still biting or if they stopped?
Is it still cool to cool to fish down there or has it been shutdown?
I'll be out shopping this afternoon. I'll be picking up some tackle if anyone needs me to pick anything up.

s @ Marina Real Fri and Sat morning early...I learned a few things whilst down there...
1. If you arrive in the morning, be sure you vacate before 8 a.m.
2. If you want to fish in the evening, arrive after 4:45.
>>>The reason is that the Harbor Master aka: "Chuckles" will throw you out. He arrives @ 8:30 a.m. and leaves @ 4:30. A real cutie. A gem. A doozey if you will.
Fishing is steady ,some 10-14 pounders in the last few days, but follow these rules, not sure he has the authority to kick you out ( Federal zone) But he thinks he does.....I know the owner of marina real and keep a boat there, he never say's nothing to me but I have reports of him yelling at others ??????

hi,
Has anyone caught any corvina lately? I tried Marina Real on the 31st at sundown with no luck.
Is there any way of predicting when the bite will be on (tides, forage fish, water temp, winds, etc)?
saludos,
Duncan

Duncan,
Try to concentrate on the tidal changes - one to two hours after the high tide is a good time to look for them at the mouth of the harbor. Also, the solunar peaks shown on the main web page seem to increase the action, especially when they correspond with a tide change.
Good Luck!
